The Itinerary

Arrive at Zanzibar Airport. Your guide meets you and walks you from the port road into the old town — there is no better introduction than arriving on foot through the narrow lanes. Afternoon wander: the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the slave market memorial. Sunset from Mercury's restaurant bar.
