The Northern Circuit is the newest and most remote route on Kilimanjaro. Nine days of gradual ascent, maximum acclimatisation time, and solitude the other routes simply cannot offer. Success rates above 95%. If you have the time, this is the one.

Transfer from Moshi through Maasai villages to the Lemosho Gate. Begin the ascent through pristine montane rainforest — this quiet approach means you'll rarely encounter another group. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa.
